Beijing Daxing Airport Temporary Driving Permit Assistance for Foreign Visitors

Planning to rent a car and drive in Beijing after landing at Daxing Airport? We now offer Beijing Daxing Airport Temporary Driving Permit Assistance to help international visitors complete the application shortly after arrival.

You do not need to arrange a paper translation yourself or find a printing shop after landing. We prepare your Chinese driver’s licence translation in advance, bring the stamped documents to the airport and accompany you to the vehicle administration station.

How Does the Service Work?

Send Us Your Driving Licence Before Arrival

Send us clear colour scans or photos of both sides of your valid foreign driving licence. Let us know whether you intend to drive a manual or automatic car, as this determines whether you need the Chinese C1 or C2 category.

We Prepare the Paper Translation

We translate your foreign driving licence into Chinese and prepare the required paper documents, including:

  • Chinese translation bearing our company’s physical red official seal;
  • A copy of our company’s Business License bearing the official seal.

We will send you a colour scanned copy of the stamped translation for reference before your arrival. The original paper documents will be brought to the airport by our staff.

Meet Us After Arrival

After you have cleared immigration and collected your luggage, our staff will meet you at the agreed location inside the airport.

We will then accompany you to the Vehicle Management Station on the second floor of the terminal and assist with the application until the temporary driving permit is issued, subject to the authority’s review and approval.

Where Is the Vehicle Management Station?

The Daxing Airport Vehicle Management Station is located:

Terminal 2F, approximately 100 metres west of the West Exit of the Domestic Arrivals area.

Its currently published opening hours are:

  • Monday to Sunday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • National public holidays: Closed

The station can be contacted at:

  • +86-10-81698358
  • +86-10-12123

What Should You Bring?

Before your flight, please prepare the following original documents:

  • Your valid passport and relevant visa, stay or residence documents, as applicable;
  • Your original, valid foreign driving licence;
  • Two recent 1-inch colour photographs with a white background.

We recommend preparing the photographs before travelling. A self-service photo booth is also available at the airport as a backup option.

Your foreign driving licence must be a regular valid licence. Temporary, learner and provisional licences are not accepted for this application.

Who Is This Service For?

Our airport assistance service is designed for foreign visitors applying for a C1 or C2 temporary driving permit to drive ordinary rented cars in China.

In China:

  • C1 covers small cars with both manual and automatic transmission.
  • C2 is limited to small automatic cars.

A temporary driving permit is intended for temporary use in China and is different from converting your foreign licence into a full Chinese driving licence.

Arrange Your Airport Assistance Before Flying

If you plan to drive in Beijing after arriving at Daxing Airport, contact us before your trip. Send us your driving licence scans, flight details and intended vehicle type.

We will check the application requirements, prepare your stamped paper translation, and arrange to meet you after you collect your luggage.

Arrive at Daxing Airport with your documents ready. We will help you take care of the translation and the on-site application, so you can spend less time dealing with paperwork and more time enjoying your trip in China.
